Janice Walker is a native of Baltimore, MD by way of Queens, NY. She graduated from Western High School, the oldest all-female public high school remaining in the United States. Ms. Walker attended Wilberforce University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree and pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Zeta Chapter. She also has a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton, a CRN University Partner via the Dual-Degree STEM Program, and received her MBA degree from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Ms. Walker is a Certified College Advisor through the Teachers College of Columbia University. Her passion is assisting parents and their students in Grades 8th-12th on their journey to college.
Ms. Walker is the proud mother of 2 daughters and a son. Her oldest daughter graduated from North Carolina State University where she was a Goodnight Scholar. Her youngest daughter attends Brandeis University where she is a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellow. Her son attends Elon University where he is an Odyssey Scholar and an Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellow. In her spare time, Ms. Walker crochets, reads, spends time with her family, and travels.
