Tom Slowe is a native of Boston, MA, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Secondary Education Certificate from Saint Anselm College (NH) and has a Master of Health Administration degree with a Healthcare Informatics Certificate from Capella University. Mr. Slowe is married to his wife, Maria (born and raised in New York City), and has a daughter named Bridget. Outside of teaching, he enjoys reading, discussing government and politics, traveling/camping, and Tae Kwon Do.
Mr. Slowe came to Richmond, VA, in 2011 to join Bon Secours Virginia Health System as their Administrative Director of ConnectCare Training. As part of his long career in corporate education in the consulting, financial services, and healthcare industries, he has had the opportunity to work across the country and several countries. He comes to Cristo Rey Richmond following his work as Director of Training & Readiness programs for Pivot Point Consulting, a healthcare IT consulting firm. Starting as a long-term substitute in the History Department, he is excited to continue working with the team at CRRHS to help students be prepared for college and all the opportunities that await them.
