Marcella Leonard-Jackson is native to Richmond, graduating from Collegiate School. After which, she attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, receiving a BFA for Screenwriting and Entrepreneurship. While attending university, Marcella tutored, nannied, substitute taught in Chesterfield county public schools, TA-ed in Pittsburgh public schools, coached wrestling in Pittsburgh public schools, and worked with intellectually gifted, at-risk children through Jacob’s Ladder Enrichment Program. Outside of teaching English, Marcella loves to write, wrestle, eat, and watch TV. She also has a beautiful tabby cat named Molly, who is a proud Cristo Rey Royal in her own right.
