Mary Catherine Hargrove

Mary Catherine Hargrove is working for Cristo Rey Richmond this year as a part of the Bon Secours Ministry Volunteer program. She is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and earned her BA in Global Studies and English at the University of North Carolina. Before joining the Cristo Rey and BSVM team, Mary Catherine worked as a campus minister and social justice coordinator at UNC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, reading, cooking, listening to music, and traveling. Mary Catherine is excited to be joining the Cristo Rey family this year in academic and student support, and hopes to learn more about education as she practices the Bon Secours charism of “healing, compassion, and liberation.”
