Denzel Mitchell was born in Richmond and grew up on the Northern Neck of Virginia. After studying Political and Social Thought, Economics, and History at the University of Virginia, he spent two years as a faith-based community organizer here in Richmond. Now Mr. Mitchell is preparing students for the workplace as a full time volunteer in the Corporate Work Study office and helps coach the Cross Country team. In his free time, he likes to run, read, and spend time with friends and family.
