Eric Lowell graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering and joined the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submarine officer. After a wonderful decade in the Navy, Mr. Lowell received his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and began his career in corporate America. He worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before spending over 20 years as an analyst and leader at Capital One. Mr. Lowell is now living his long-term dream of teaching math to high school students.
Mr. Lowell is married to his wife, Emer (born and raised in Dublin, Ireland), and has a son named Ciarán and a daughter named Sive. Outside of teaching, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, sailing on the Chesapeake, playing board games, and anything related to science fiction (books and movies especially!)
