Kathryn Miller

Kathryn Miller grew up in Richmond’s west end and is excited to return to her hometown as part of the Cristo Rey Richmond community. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from North Carolina State University, with minors in Philosophy and Film Studies, and a master’s degree in English Literature from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms. Miller spent 24 years at a Holy Cross Catholic high school in Mountain View, California, teaching English and Religion while serving in a variety of leadership roles, including English department chair, Dean of Students, student advisor, and moderator of the school’s literary magazine and poetry club. She is grateful to continue sharing her love of literature, writing, and learning in a Catholic school community that values and prioritizes the growth of the whole person. Outside of school, Ms. Miller enjoys spending time with her family: visiting the beach, rock hopping at Belle Isle, riding roller coasters, watching movies, and playing games.
