Laura Roberts Wright, a native of Alabama, earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Duke University and her MBA from the Darden School at UVA. Her early careers were in banking and commercial real estate, then she retired to raise her three daughters. During this “retirement,” Ms. Wright served on many non-profit boards doing work in Haiti and traveled there too many times to count. She joined Cristo Rey as an Advancement Associate in 2019/2020 after being an early supporter and loves being part of this mission. “It is all about giving opportunities to the wonderful young people of our community.”
Ms. Wright enjoys playing duplicate bridge, boating on the James River, hiking, book clubs (in three!) and travel – especially to see her two grand-daughters!
