Marina Ghaly Abaev

Marina Ghaly Abaev is a native of Richmond, VA. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors degree before attending Union Presbyterian Seminary graduating with a Masters in Divinity and Masters in Theology. While Mrs. Ghaly Abaev was a graduate student, she was a Teacher Assistant for the Religion department at VCU and the head tutor for the seminary assisting the professors and tutoring graduate students. Mrs. Ghaly Abaev loves all things about teaching religion, but is especially passionate about teaching the History of Christianity and World Religions. She enjoys working at Cristo Rey Richmond because of the mission of educating young people to become a person of faith, purpose, and service. In her free time, Mrs. Ghaly Abaev likes to read, play her guitar or piano, watch movies/tv shows/sports, and be with her friends and family.
