Veronica Boyd is happy to join the Cristo Rey Richmond CWSP team. She was drawn to the mission to Transform Richmond One Student at a Time. A native of Long Island, NY, Ms. Boyd has been in Richmond for 30 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communications from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She spent her career in corporate human resources, talent acquisition and career development in a number of diverse industries with a passion for developing Emerging Talent and is excited about the Corporate Work Study opportunities provided for the scholars of Cristo Rey.
Ms. Boyd enjoys time outdoors with her husband, son, and fur baby. She also loves spending time with her large extended family and lifelong friends. Hobbies include: kayaking, bird photography, pickleball, global travel, Zumba, reading and dog rescue. Volunteer work is focused on meeting the needs of underserved communities in RVA, fundraising for breast cancer early detection and working with a dog rescue organization.
